Weeds will be short-lived, the non-chemical remedy that cleans everything up in a few minutes!

As summer arrives, our green thumbs become more active in our daily lives. However, for both plant enthusiasts and those who cultivate them professionally, the issue of weeds inevitably arises.

Weeds, aside from being bothersome and detracting from the appearance of crops and flowerbeds, can spontaneously overtake the soil and nutrients intended for the plants we are nurturing.

While chemical products can easily eradicate weeds, they also pose the risk of causing irreversible damage to the soil. So, how can we eliminate weeds while safeguarding the soil? In this scenario, natural remedies, often referred to as green remedies, can prove remarkably effective.

Here are three types of natural remedies that are safe and beneficial for eliminating weeds:

  1. Salt and Vinegar:
    • Create a powerful herbicide by mixing 2 tablespoons of vinegar (apple, wine, or alcohol) and a full teaspoon of salt in a bottle.
    • Add half a liter of hot water to the bottle and shake well until the salt dissolves.
    • Pour the mixture onto the weeds, weakening them with vinegar and altering the soil pH with salt.
  2. Lemon Juice:
    • Simply pour lemon juice on the weed you want to eliminate.
    • The citric acid in the lemon will quickly burn the leaves.
  3. Sugar:
    • Sprinkle a layer of sugar at least one and a half centimeters high on the weed roots.
    • The next day, you’ll observe the plants drying up until they wither completely.
  4. Sodium Bicarbonate:
    • Dissolve a glass of baking soda in a liter of water and pour it onto the targeted area.
    • Alternatively, place a small amount of baking soda directly on the weeds.

Choose the method that suits your preferences and needs. Happy gardening!
